Getting there from outside the city
With German Rail
Get off at Hamburg-Hauptbahnhof
Timetable enquiries: Tel. 040 - 1 94 19
We also recommend using one of the many Park and Ride facilities;
the services from these stations, which run every few minutes, will
take you directly to Hauptbahnhof.
By car
Motorways A 1, A 7 and A 24 will take you to the east and the west
of the city centre; the northbound A 1 leads directly to the city
centre (which is well signposted), to the Hauptbahnhof and the museum.
The routes to the car parks in the city centre are signposted on
all the main roads. There is a small car park directly in front
of the museum.
